Delivery & Ordering

Order Cut-off

In order to serve the freshest vegetables, reduce our waste and cut down on transport we have an order cut-off time of 7pm on Monday.

This means we can place orders with our farmer network on Monday evening, they harvest on Tuesday and Wednesday morning and the produce travels in cold chain overnight to our packing room on Thursday.

Orders made before 12pm on Tuesday will be delivered that week on Thursday or Friday (customer choice). Orders made after the cut-off time will be delivered the following week.

Benefits of an order cut-off and set delivery days?

1. Vegetables from our farmer network are harvested to order and sent with a cooler truck arriving every Thursday. This helps us achieve much better quality produce. (Usually we would need to use a bus service and this means vegetables are not stored at the best temperature and occasionally arrive completely damaged.)

2. Less fuel used! Reducing our Aung Mingalar bus station trips to once a week and limiting our time spent delivering in Yangon is going to be great for the planet.

3. Less waste! Using a pre-order system means that farmers only harvest and send what we know is already sold. We are pretty good at limiting our waste already by turning un-sold vegetables into cafe products, team meals and as a last resort the compost but we think its worth reducing more. Pre-ordering also means we can supply orders more consistently.

4. Team time. We would like our team to attend more trainings and having set delivery days and subsequently free time on the non-delivery days means they can spend time learning and hopefully improve our service to you even more. :)

Thank you so much for your support and understanding. Please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or concerns.
